Wismarq's Franklin Park facility is just minutes west of Chicago, Illinois. It occupies a 110,000 square foot building. Our capabilities here include coating aluminum and steel. Your material is carefully uncoiled, cleaned, chemically treated, primed, oven cured, topcoated, oven cured again, and then recoiled, skidded, and stretched wrapped for shipment.
Wismarq offers the convenience of slitting. This operation can be done before or after the coil is coated. Doing so before coating allows the flexibility to purchase master coils from the mills. In total, Wismarq operates 3 slitters. The two slitters located at our Franklin Park facility are pull through slitters.
Aesthetics of a finished product is an important part of its success. Wismarq offers a variety of imprint styles to apply to your metal: stucco, leathergrain, ribbed, regular diamond, square diamond, and rustic cedar woodgrain.
